After each use, allow the rope and bag to dry completely. Proper repacking ensures the line is ready for the next emergency.

• To throw: Pull the hand tag from the bag and hold it with your non-throwing hand. Hold the loop handle at the bottom with your throwing hand and throw the bag underhand, aiming beyond the target. If you miss, pull back and refill the bag with water before re-throwing.
• To repack: Loosen and stuff the rope back into the bag without wrapping or coiling to prevent tangling during deployment.
