Stainless Steel Gas Springs are ideal for corrosive environments, making them perfect for marine use. Nitrogen charged, it makes lifting and lowering doors and hatches easier and more controllable. A 10 mm nylon socket is attached to both ends. Fully extended, the Stainless Steel Gas Spring is 9.8" in length and compresses down to 6.3" in length. It has a force of 40 lbs. to lift appropriately sized doors and hatches.
