The GLM71230 HEI distributor assembly is designed as a direct replacement for Mercury Thunderbolt IV/V distributors on GM V8 5.7L MerCruiser engines. It provides reliable, high-energy ignition performance for improved starting, throttle response, and offshore reliability.
- Battery powered (HEI) high energy ignition
- Uses a Hall-Effect type sensor for accurate ignition triggering, even at low RPM
- Meets or exceeds SAE J1171 standards
